I just got back from lunch. Pho Fridays!!! As I ease myself back into work mode I check a few sites and open up my files. - depressing world news ahead but a happy subaru to compensate
On CNN there was a video talking about the aids being brought into one of the cities. The video showed a boy, maybe 8 . He looked like something you would have expected to see in the halocaust. His ribs clearly visible, overall looking like hell. As a father it is particularly disturbing. I’m pretty fucking horrified that humans can be so cruel to each other. I feel somewhat guilty about the large bowl of soup I just ate. I go to Gizmodoand the first article is about turning facebook photos into text art. It just didn’t sit well.

i know people have their issues with CNN but what they were showing was real, and real fucked up. There is some horrid shit going on over there.

Staying away from the “news” in general is a really easy way to boost morale. It’s mostly bullshit/fear mongering anyway.
